1. What InsightDock is

InsightDock (“InsightDock,” “we,” “us”) is a software service that helps buy-and-hold investors track their investment theses. We monitor publicly available financial information, extract factual data points (such as earnings figures, price movements, and analyst actions), and use automated systems, including AI models, to generate original, fact-based alerts and summaries in our own words. When we reference a news story, we describe the underlying facts and link you to the original source so you can read it there.

2. Not financial advice

InsightDock is an informational tool, not an investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner. Nothing on the service is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, nor an offer or solicitation to do so. Alerts, summaries, sentiment scores, and “thesis health” indicators are automated, may be incomplete or wrong, and must not be relied upon as the basis for any investment decision. You are solely responsible for your own decisions and should consult a licensed professional before investing.

3. Not a news publication

InsightDock is a notification and analysis tool, not a news organization, and does not hold itself out as one. We do not reproduce the full text of source articles. Our alerts and summaries are generated by us from uncopyrightable facts and are attributed and linked to their sources. See our Copyright & DMCA Policy for how we handle intellectual property.

4. Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
• You sign in through a third-party identity provider (for example Google, GitHub, or Facebook). You are responsible for keeping access to that account secure.
• You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for the accuracy of information you provide.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• scrape, resell, or redistribute InsightDock content in a way that competes with the service or removes attribution;
• attempt to access the service through automated means outside of interfaces we provide (such as our API), or circumvent rate limits, authentication, or security controls;
• use the service to violate any law or the rights of any third party; or
• misrepresent InsightDock’s automated output as professional financial, legal, or tax advice.

6. Subscriptions and payments

Paid tiers are billed through our payment processor. Fees, billing intervals, and included features are shown at the point of purchase. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

7. Third-party content and links

The service links to and describes content published by third parties. We do not control that content and are not responsible for its accuracy, availability, or the terms of the sites we link to. Following a link is subject to that site’s own terms.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that alerts are timely, complete, or error-free, or that the service will be uninterrupted.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, InsightDock will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for any investment losses, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD 100.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
