1. How InsightDock uses news

InsightDock extracts facts — such as earnings numbers, price moves, and analyst actions — from publicly available sources and generates original alerts and summaries in its own words. Facts are not protected by copyright; the specific creative expression a journalist uses to report them is. We are designed around that line:

• we do not republish the full text of source articles;
• we do not reproduce headlines, ledes, or verbatim excerpts in our alerts;
• our alerts and summaries are generated from structured facts, not copied from source prose; and
• we attribute and link to the original source so you can read it there — our alerts point to the news, they are not a substitute for it.

We prioritize sources intended for distribution — such as SEC filings, company press releases, investor-relations pages, and public RSS feeds — and we access publicly available content without circumventing paywalls, logins, or other access controls.

2. Good-faith takedowns

If you are a rights holder and believe that material on InsightDock infringes your copyright, we want to hear from you and will act in good faith. Send a notice to our designated agent with the information below and we will review and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the material.

3. Submitting a DMCA notice

Under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), a valid notice must include:

• your physical or electronic signature;
• identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
• identification of the material you claim is infringing, and enough information for us to locate it (such as the URL or the specific alert);
• your name, address, telephone number, and email address;
• a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
• a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on its behalf.

4. Counter-notice

If you believe your material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address including your signature, identification of the removed material and its prior location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was a mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate federal court.

5. Repeat infringers

We will, in appropriate circumstances, disable or terminate accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
